BBC Radio 3 Roadtrip - interview with Markus Stenz

BBC Radio 3 celebrated the New Year with live music and guests across Europe - from Vienna to Reykjavik - via Paris, Budapest and Cologne. On January 4, 2025 Tom McKinney broadcast live from the WDR studio in Cologne and introduced music inspired by the Rhine, he visited the iconic cathedral to find out about its long musical history. And was joined by Markus Stenz as a guest, who talked to Tom about the musical life of the city and his cooperation with composers like Hans Werner Henze.
